Caden, 2 weeks old

Here is baby Caden (or, "Baby Cay" as we like to call him) at 2 weeks of age. He's gaining weight and starting to fill out nicely.

This is Caden at 6 days old. You can see from this photo how light (brownish-blonde) his hair is. Right now, his eyes are blue. So where did this baby come from?! Grandma and Grandpa Flores insist that he looks like Ivette's newborn baby pictures. Personally, we think he looks like the milkman. But he sure is CUTE!

The "Other" New Addition

Where are we going to put all these Falcons now? We decided to add on to the house. See below for the progress to date.

The Falcon Brothers

Big brother Noah spent time getting to know 'new baby brother' Caden this morning. Noah looks like a giant next to tiny Caden, who is 14 days old today! Mom has to watch carefully to make sure Noah doesn't manhandle the baby. He seems to like his new brother so far!

Caden at 14 days old. He is a little more alert each day, follows us with his eyes and spends longer periods of time awake. He is sleeping well, especially at night!

Happy St. Patrick's Day - it's Mia's 4th Birthday!

Mia had a wonderful day celebrating her 4th birthday! Aunt Mirta, visiting from Florida, took Mia for a manicure and lunch, followed by some shopping. They also stopped to buy cupcakes to bring to Mia's birthday dinner. Quite a girls' day out!

We celebrated by going out to dinner at a mexican restaurant, which was very festive! Joining us were Aunt Mirta, Aunt Giselle, Uncle Joel and Aunt Charlotte, and our good friends, The Hindts.

Caden's Second Week

Here are images from Caden's second week of life. He was one week old yesterday!

Welcome, Caden Matthew

We joyfully announce the arrival of Caden Matthew Falcon.

Caden Matthew was born at 10:33 AM on March 7, 2007, weighing 8 lbs., 3 oz, and stretching out 20.5 inches. Mom had a tough C-section but came through like a star. Mom and Caden are resting comfortably, and Dad, Mia and Noah are thrilled with the new addition to the family. See below for a little photo tour of our big day.

New Addition Pending...

The Falcon Family is busy preparing for its latest addition, Baby Boy Falcon. He is due March 15, but apparently has decided bigger is better and since he is already almost 9 lbs., he may make an early appearance any day now.

Baby brother says, "I'll be here soon!"
