Caden's Antics

Caden was distraught one morning to find himself stuck behind the sofa and unable to get out. Mama heard the cries and eventually found him. Even when she made room for him to crawl out, Caden looked quite upset and offended by that mean sofa.

A happier Caden.

Caden recently learned to stick his tongue out and now delights in practicing - that tongue comes waaaay out!

Home Sweet Home

I came across these pictures of Connecticut taken on our last trip there in September. I got a little homesick so I decided to post some of the pics. The images of the UCONN campus brings such happy memories of our years there as college students and also the fun day we spent on campus with our kids this year. Milo and I met at UCONN in our last year; we became instant friends (which quickly turned into romance) and the rest is history, as they say! We still talk about how those were some of the best years of our lives - college was a blast! Oh yeah, we learned a little bit, too.

We made a lot of memories in those first few years, traveling all over our very beautiful home state, and we still miss 'home' very much!

Weekend at the Cabin

We spent the weekend at our cabin in the Georgia mountains. The weather was cold but the cabin was cozy and warm and the kids enjoyed their time there.

Daddy and Noah watching a movie.

It was a good day for a cozy fire.

A little Daddy-Caden love.

Caden was very intersted in what he saw outside.

Playing with their toys.

Mia and Noah love being outside, even if it's cold. Here they are, running on the porch.

It's Snowing in Georgia!

What a surprise to see it snowing last night. The kids were SO excited. Mia had prayed and asked God to send snow, and when it started to snow a few minutes later she exclaimed, "I prayed and asked God to send snow, and He did!" We watched the snow fall until it was time for the kids to go to bed. It was so beautiful (and a rare occurrence in Georgia).

Snow falling at our house.
Noah prefers to watch the snow from the warmth and safety of the house.

Mia tries to catch snowflakes on her tongue.
Mama and Mia - Brrr, it's cold!!
Noah, Caden and Mia watch the snow from the warmth of their play room (well, Caden was actually more interested in watching his siblings).

Friends Visit

Friends Naomi and her baby sister Vivian came over for a play date today. Caden and Vivian hit it off and had fun exploring toys in the play room while Mia and Naomi played big girl games.
