Caden at age 8 months and Getting ready for Christmas

Caden Matthew, 8 months old... standing, crawling, trying to walk and saying some words already! His first words: Touch down, hi, ball, Dada, Ma.

Fun in the kitchen with sister Mia.

Caden sure liked his first taste of pumpkin pie!

Mia loves to play dress up and one day she came out of her room wearing this Christmas outfit. Here she is with her Grandpa.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house this year. Mom and Dad Flores were with us (from Florida), as well as Giselle and Greg, Greg's mom, Ms. Joyce, and our friend Doug Poole.
We give thanks to God for His abundant blessings this year: the birth of our son Caden, Giselle's marriage, Dad's improved health which allowed him to be here this month for the wedding and holiday celebrations, and the gift of wonderful family and friends. We continue to be amazed by God's goodness.

Life in the Falcon home

Caden got his first haircut yesterday (11-21-07) and did very well at Fantastic Sam's. :) Here is a picture of Cay with his new 'do.

This is a pic of me with my girlfriends, Jolee and Jennifer. Every year we celebrate our October birthdays together; this year we went to our cabin in Ellijay for a fun overnight trip (and therapy session!! ha ha)

Here are various pics of the kids playing... this is what they do best.

Having fun dancing with Daddy.

Noah typically has a ball in his hands (Red Sox baseball courtesy of friend Sonia Bannon - don't tell Grandpa!!) Caden loves to be around his big brother.

Enjoying the Fall weather outside.

Noah has enjoyed making Grandpa play ball with him!

We call him "Cuban Pete."

Caden was exhausted by the morning's activities and Mom found him asleep on the floor. Poor baby!!

Post-Wedding Brunch with Family

On Sunday morning after the wedding, Milo and I hosted brunch at our house for about 26 family members who came to town for the wedding. It was great fun to see everyone together. We haven't all been together in many, many years!

The ladies doing -- what else? -- talking.

Grandpa Izzy and Caden Matthew (8 months old). Caden loves his Grandpa and has been having great fun with him.

As you can see, Caden loves the ladies too! Here he is, pictured with aunt Mirta (holding him) and cousin Gracie.

A Happy Wedding

November 10th was a happy day in the family. Ivette's sister, Giselle, got married to a wonderful guy named Greg Brown. Mia was a very beautiful flower girl (and reveled in her title!) and Ivette was the matron of honor. Many thanks to my friend, Jennifer, for doing a fantastic job doing my makeup!! Here are a few snapshots from that day:
