The Sun Will Come Out, Tomorrow...

Mia is performing in her first school drama production, the musical Annie. She has been rehearsing hard all week, and tonight was the final dress rehearsal. The performances are this weekend... she is doing a great job and is very excited to be in the show. Here are some photos from the rehearsal tonight.

Father-Daughter Valentine's Dance

Milo escorted Mia on their first official 'date', to the Father-Daughter Valentine's Day dance sponsored by our town. Mia had a wonderful time going out alone with Daddy! They danced, met friends, and had a great time.

Sunday Photos

We had a very busy Sunday morning. Mia stood up in church with the kindergarteners and recited Scripture verses that they had been learning by memory. Standing next to Mia was one of her favorite little friends, Carlo (they also go to school together.) After the kids finished, we got to see my friend Marineli get baptized by her husband Michael - a really beautiful moment.

After church, the family went out to lunch as usual! Easier than cooking and cleaning up at home when everybody is tired. :)

Kindergarten Concert

All 8 kindergarten classes at Mia's school performed a little concert at the PTA meeting the other night, so of course, Momma, Daddy, Noah and Caden were on hand to cheer Mia and her classmates on. The children performed in their pajamas (after all, it was past bedtime for most of the kids!)
