We packed up the kids and SUV and headed out at 3:30 am to make the long drive to central Florida for some fun in the sun! We learned that it is much easier to travel during the wee hours of the morning when the kids are sleepy. The kids got some good quality time with both sets of grandparents and nobody ended up in the hospital this time around!
A Day at Disney
We took Mia to the Magic Kingdom one day. Boy was it hot! She had been asking and asking to see Mickey Mouse, so our first stop was the Mickey and Friends show at Cinderella's Castle. Mia was enthralled.
Arriving at the Magic Kingdom (it was already a sweltering 89 degrees)

The Mickey and Friends show!

Watching the Mickey and Friends show.
Mia meets Eyeore at the Crystal Palace Character Lunch (well worth the money! The food was delicious and it was a lot of fun for Mia)
and hugs Winnie the Pooh...
....poses with Piglet
...and Tigger too! (Mom got a kiss on the head from Tigger. Awww!)
After lunch, we took Mia on her first 'grown up' ride on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. She loved it! During the ride, as the train whipped around the curves and Mia screamed with glee, she looked up at Mom and said, "Can we do this again?!" Mom and Dad had to refuse because they felt a little nauseous after the ride.
Big News!
While we were in Florida, Ivette's sister Giselle and her 'friend' Greg were also visiting their parents. We went out to lunch with the parents to celebrate Father's Day. Later that night, Giselle and Greg went to the Magic Kingdom to see the fireworks show, and after that, Greg proposed in front of Cinderella's Castle! So my little sister is getting married and we're so happy for her and Greg. Knowing them, it's going to be a beautiful wedding.
The happy couple the day after their engagement.

The Falcon boys in matching outfits at Granda Edmee's house. What a pair! We're not going to be able to keep the girls away.
The kids get showered with lots of love from our extended family. Here are a few examples:
Caden with Great-Grandma Rosalina
Cuddling with Grandpa

Caden with Abuleo and Grandma Daisy

(Noah was a little cranky after waking from his nap!)
