We went to see Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last night at the new Verizon Amphitheater in Alpharetta. What a fabulous concert!! Steve Winwood opened the show and he and his band were fantastic. The Heartbreakers came on the stage around 10 pm and sang to a packed house. The music was loud, fun, good 'ol rock and roll - what a blast!! TP was charming and appeared to be having a good time. If you haven't been to the amphitheater yet, we highly recommend it. It's a beautiful outdoor venue.Thursday, July 10, 2008
