Grandma's Visit

Haven't had a chance to update our blog in a few days; it's been busy with the end of the school year looming ahead. We registered Mia for kindergarten last week (she is excited to ride the school bus next year.) Tonight is orientation and a tour at the elementary school. We're thankful that several of Mia's preschool classmates will also attend the same school, so she will have a few friends there already (although we've heard there are 6 kindergarten classes!) Can't believe our baby girl is going to kindergarten!

My mother is here visiting from FL. The kids have had a lot of fun with Grandma this past week and we sure have kept busy. Grandma took Mia to get a manicure and pedicure one day. They are two peas in a pod!

Grandma Edmee and Caden play together.

Noah makes his "monster" face.

Grandma cuddles with Noah...

... and gives Cay Cay a ride in the car.

Caden is looking more and more like a big boy. He is 14 months old today! He is now walking like a champ and we can't get him to slow down. He also loves to climb and shows amazing skill and balance while giving his mother heart failure on occasion.

Like my spiffy Easter Basket Purse?

Hey, I found a snack on the floor!

And off I go to find new treasures.

Hey Mama, look at me!

What else can I find to do up here?

What a bod!

Yesterday morning I found Caden trying to get his pajama top off. The kid just doesn't stop... but he's a really happy boy who can play for an hour or more on his own, entertaining himself with various toys. He also loves to play outside with his siblings.

Mia collecting rocks in the yard, no doubt for some big project she's dreamed up.

Noah with a beloved balloon. Balls, balloons and bubbles are Noah's favorite things! He even sleeps with them when he can.
