A Friend Comes to Visit

During our daughter's birth in Indiana, God provided a great friend to help support us. Her name is Ms. Sandie, and she has remained a friend to us ever since. We strongly believe that God placed Sandie in that situation to be our advocate during a very stressful time after Mia's birth. She prayed for us and has been a loyal friend ever since, celebrating with us through the birth of each of our children and treating them as if they are part of her family. Sandie has not seen Mia since she was about 18 months of age, so we were happy that she was able to see Mia and meet Noah and Caden as well. She brought her granddaughter, Katie, along, and Mia and Katie played together and had a great time. It's special that Mia has this person in her life who was present at her birth, knows her birth family and can one day share her birth story with her.
